The performance is important, but after over a decade on sets, I’ve learned it’s the person behind the scenes who matters just as much.
That’s where the real experience of being a working actor comes from. The craft is one thing, but if someone is dragging down the vibes on set, no amount of BAFTA-worthy moments can make up for a team mate who doesn’t put the entire crew first.
Acting’s always been about the shared story for me. The kind that’s been shaped by writers, directors, and whole groups of people long before I ever step onto set. My job is to take all of that hard work (the storyboards, the edits, the endless meetings) and bring it to life in a way that feels honest.
